How much of this is Oklahoma going to have to take before it washes away?

I dunno, but at least there's no thunder and lightning today - so far - so the critters aren't too unhappy. We won't go into how I feel when they bring buckets of mud inside every time they go out, though...

The only real problem is that by the time all this rain stops, I'm not gonna have a yard, anymore, it's going to be well on it's way to becoming a forest!

I am soooooooooo sick of the rain. We've been trying to get the pool/yard ready for Anna's party on the 22nd, but right now it looks like her Luau is going to turn into a "garage" party.

Plus, Anna and I have tickets to the Alan Jackson concert at the Zoo Ampitheater this Saturday. Can't bring chairs when they sell out, and instead of bringing a blanket, I think we should bring a shower curtain to sit on!

I dunno, but the weather channel was just talking about the possibility of flooding in the OK/Ark. area. They said the topsoil was already drenched and nothing was soaking in anymore. Not good.

Except in spots, it hasn't been all that bad. Keystone is a good 15 feel lesss than it was this time about 3 years ago. Bixby hasn't flooded. Ok, Pryor had a day where they had to shut some roads, but Bird Creek, the Verdigris, etc are all still in their banks. I just hope we get a few days of wind to dry things out before it hits 100 degrees.........

That map sure has changed since the first time I looked at it! Where did you get it? I like watching storms go away.

Our ground feels like a sponge when we walk on it. But I'm not gonna complain, because come hot and dry July, we'll be wanting rain.
