It depends... Did you e-file and use direct deposit, or paper file and opt for a check?

We e-filed the beginning of Feb. and had our refund deposited in 7 days.

From our tax return:

Quote:
Where’s My Refund?
Before you call the Oklahoma Tax Commission with questions about your
refund, give them 8 to 14 days processing time from the date your
return is accepted. If then you have not received your refund, or the
amount is not what you expected, contact the Oklahoma Tax Commission
directly at 800-522-8165. From outside of Oklahoma use 405-521-3160.
You can also access their website here: Checking Your Refund Status

We have always gotten our State refund before our Federal... you should call and check.

You sent in your taxes on May the 10th? Maybe it's because you paid taxes almost a month overdue?

I'm not criticizing you, just making an observation.

Only thing I miss about Texas. No state income tax.

I DO like that about Texas, although the property taxes here more than make up for the rest. For a 150K house, we pay almost 4K per year in property taxes.

They get you one way or another...

Ah! Didn't realize you were a first time filer... seems like you have been here longer.

Yes, filing as a "non-resident" did take us MUCH longer to get our refund.

After our first year it was MUCH easier and quicker.

That's amazing. We had to file a paper return also because we were "part time residents" in 2008 too. However, we had to PAY this year, and it sure didn't take them 8-10 weeks to cash our check!!!

Never seems to take to long for them to cash my check when I've had to pay. Fortunately I see my refund will be credited to my account today.
