Rattan is a VERY tiny town in OK! (Rental homes may be nearly impossible to find.) May I ask what type of work you will be doing?

Check with the real estate offices in Hugo, that's considerably larger and they cover those areas. Most of the real estate offices do property management as well, or they know what's available.

I thought so when I looked at your profile. What fun! LEO in a town with 250 people.

Kari is right about finding Realtors in the nearest larger town. Another possibility would be contacting the local Ministers in town and ask them. They usually have a pretty good idea about the population and what might be available. I did look up the Rattan PD and found one guy's phone number.

Here is the website for the First Baptist Church in town, and I will dig a little more... First Baptist Curch of Rattan - Rattan Oklahoma I know there is also a little Grill/Cafe in town I'll see what I can find.

If there is a co-op, they might know of some farm houses that are sitting empty. Seems like the country homes rent very cheap!
