Places to live in Poteau
I have a summer internship in Poteau, Ok and I am having trouble finding a place to live. I have found a few apartment listings, but none with pictures or anything of the sort. I would even be willing to live in a room for rent in a house. I move up there in mid may and will be there for about 3 months. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on picking out a place to live? Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks, Logan

Use the search function on this forum, and type in "Poteau." The city has been widely discussed. I'd look for the person with the most information (someone who lives in Poteau) and then PM them (Eddie Gein comes to mind). That would probably be your best bet.

our friends moved down there about 3 years ago and they ended up having to BUY a place to live because they couldn't find a place to rent. There are other small towns around Poteau though if you want to drive.
He drives to Talihina everyday for work. Nice huh?
I drive to Lawton from OKC everyday for work so I don't feel bad for him at all..hahaha

That's a long drive, n8tiv okie. How long does that take? I would hate to have that drive in icy weather.  |

The Oklahoman is the local OKC newspaper. If you go online to http://newsok.com/marketplace/jobsok/ you can get classified info from the Oklahoman there.
