My Fiancee and I are trying to find a rental, we are fresh out of college and don't have alot of money (or we would just buy a house). We have called every apartment listing and NO ONE answers their phone. I don't know where to look for house rentals that are decent. I don't even care if it's in poteau.... can be heavener, wister, howe, panama, pocola, anywhere around there. I'm not too sure why someone right out of college would want to move to Poteau; it's a beautiful town and all but I can't imagine there is a lot of opportunity for employment. But, that would depend entirely on what you went to college for in the first place. Perhaps it's the perfect place.

The Chamber of Commerce website at:

has a listing of about twenty apartments. Go to the website and on the left at the bottom click on the "Apartment Listings" under "Housing." I can't imagine that one of those apartments listed would not return your call, or answer the phone. Call during business hours and I'm sure that someone would speak with you.
