Maud, OK - need information
Looking at a ranch in the Maud area. Comments from anyone who has some knowledge about the area would be appreciated, i.e. acceptance of newcomers, weather, terrain. From what I can gather from city data, it's pretty darn hot in the summer, and the terrain is mostly flat. The property has 2 ponds and a large lake as well. Therefore, I would be more concerned with cottonmouth snakes more so than rattlers and copperheads even though I imagine there would be those there as well. Thanks in advance for any general information on the area.
