Jammie would be happy
I know you'd be happy today. It's supposed to be in the 90's over almost the entire state today. I for one think it can get lost Just imagine, 90's this late in the year are as unwelcome as you getting a high in the 20's in April Oh well, at least it's just one day.

Hey, I would be very happy to have your weather today and thank you for thinking of me.
It's not bad temp-wise here~it's 69 right now. BUT our winds are absolutely roaring. 40 mph wind gusts.
I'm actually surprised it's warming up that nicely again down there. Your temps have been around 10 deg. below avg. for several days now. Even some of your mornings have only been a couple degrees warmer then mine. Our lows have actually been about 8 above avg. and yours have been below so maybe that's why we've nearly matched.
Swimming pool day down there????

May I jump in here for a second? Jammie I ran across the pics you posted of your area just wanted to say it seems to be really pretty in Mitchell looks like the kind of place that I like to live. The only drawback is the winter. If I lived where you do it would take me all summer to thaw out.

I was thinking earlier it's likely the last good swimming pool or lake weekend here. Then again our neighbors have a pool and aren't using it today. I think they haven't closed it yet though. Guess everyone is out of the mood by now.

OH gosh, swimming today would be great!!! I couldn't even go out for a walk today cause of our winds. Our swimming days ended a month ago already.
Tookey, thank you. It is nice up here and we're not too far from Sx. Falls and that's a very nice city. The Black Hills are within a half day's drive. But it does get terribly cold up here. Our low last winter was minus 37 and that isn't rare. You guys are usually at least 20 deg. warmer then we are during most winter days and you don't get the extreme cold that we do. My avg. yearly snowfall is 31 inches and yours is between 7 and 8. Our windchills can just downright brutal. Your winters seem to be chilly, but they're more like late autumn here. They seem very tolerable to me.
I like that~about thawing out. It really does take a while.

Sounds heavenly. It's down to 51 here. We ended up with 43 mph winds today. When I checked my temps earlier, I had 68 degrees. Tulsa had 92/heat index 94.

OH gosh, right now our temp is 47 and we have a windchill this morning. It's 42. I checked your temps and it's 61 deg. down there. That's supposed to be our high today.
Just sitting here waiting for a rebound in the economy. Will that happen before ANOTHER winter sets in?

It's suppose to be in the low 70's and sunny all this week. I'm takin advantage of this weeks weather because I feel that once it's gone, it's gone.
As much as I hate to think about it, I think that Ok. is going to get hit with cold weather all at once. I hope I'm wrong............for once.
I remember walking to school on 12' ft. snow banks.
