Excuse me?
Ladies???? The last time I considered this, it seemed to me that it took two to make a baby. I know of no lady who got pregnant all by herself. I tell my 20 year old son that it is HIS responsibility to prevent pregnancy, and I tell my 17 year old daughter that it is HER responsbility to prevent pregnancy. In other words, it takes two to make a baby and it should take two to make sure birth control is used.
I personally know four women who have had abortions. They run the gamut of relief, grief, anger, and sadness. I'm sure very few have an abortion lightly. But outlawing abortions would cause more women to be dead or crippled for life if we did. Abortions were around long before Roe v. Wade. Long, long, long before.

If a guy has to accept responsibility for the creation of a child, then he should have the right to provide input into abortion, adoption, and the raising of the child.

I agree with you ,men are offen times clueless and hopeless ,
and won't use the easiest form of BIRTH CONTROL KNOWN TO MANKIND
the Condom , and get this the reason why they won't use it...is it feels
better without the (You Know What) during Sex "now" that's using the
small head instead of the big head. My opinon is that Outlawing Abortion
Would Not Cause A Spike In The Death Of Women Getting Abortion
Because Od The Medical Advancement made during the last (2) decades.
Oh by the way you can feel secure Abortion Hasn't A Snow Ball Chance In Hell At Being
Over Turned...But That's Still A Chance...Isn't It.

I agree. Fathers ARE required to sign to have the child adopted. They also have rights delegated by the courts as far as visitation, how the child is raised, etc. as well. As far as having input into an abortion, that's a tough one, because when all is said and done, it's still the woman's body.

Thank you, Colleen. You saved me a lot of typing and the danger of being banned.

One of the things I think a lot of the anti-abortion crowd ( I do NOT consider them pro life.....even pro abortion people are pro life) fail to realize is that there are times when a woman, for what ever reason, is going to have an abortion. It will happen. making it illegal will simply put additional strain on the courts, increase the enforcement burden on the police, and add a lot of people to the roles of the prison inmates. I assume those who want abortion made illegal (they call it banned, but banning it won't make it go away, any more than banning weed has made it go away) are prepared to file criminal complaints against the woman who is getting the abortion, the hack (it won't be a doctor if it is illegal) who is performing an abortion, the guy who drives her to the motel room where the abortion is performed, the motel owner for allowing it to take place there, the parents who gave her the allowance that allowed her to pay for it, and her best friend who went along to hold her hand. After all, it is a criminal conspiracy to commit murder, isn't it? Are we going to have undercover hacks (again, not doctors) agreeing to perform the abortion and when she hands over the $5,000 (isn't that the going rate for a murder?) bust her, drag her to jail, and make sure she serves at least 10 years (that is minimum for manslaughter, isn't it? Although, if it is premeditated murder she is paying for she should probably be sentenced to at least 20 years to life. After all we can't have a willing murderer walking around the streets. If she will kill her fetus then she might turn on granny next).
Yep, that sounds like a good resolution to the abortion issue. After all, all the cops are doing now is trying to quell gang activity, stop robbery and rape and speeders......it isn't like they don't need something else to do. And Judges are only on the bench a few days a week.....this should certainly fill out their docket. And lets not forget all the prisons with so many vacant cells. It is about time we filled up the prisons.
Does it matter if the woman conspiring to commit the murder of her fetus was raped by an uncle or other family member? After all, it isn't the fetus' fault, is it? I say we make sure a rape victim spends at least 15 years behind bars, don't you? As long as we are going to go back to the last century, lets just make sure young women know that when they dress attractively that they are teasing guys unnecessarily and if they get raped because of it they will either have to have the kid or go to jail. Nothing like blaming the victim is there?
