Yea, I agree with Stillwater. OK is just as conservative, if not moreso, then my area. That may be considered a plus or a minus. Personally, I like open-minded, middle of the road. You're probably thinking of Cali. I imagine the conservative areas there would be considered extremely liberal in OK.

My vote is for Grove. Brian posted a beautiful pic and that whole area is truly beautiful. Actually, the eastern border of OK is very pretty.

We'd love it if you give us feedback and let us know the area you choose. Oh, and share pics with us.

Jammi,

I will definitely keep you all informed. California is very liberal and thanks to our liberal politics, we are now going bankrupt. Our tax rates are going through the roof and we stand to lose our pensions.

Huntington Beach is very beautiful and has the best weather in the country bar none, around 75 degrees year around with no humidity. I have lived here all my life but am so tired of all the people.

Every where you go and everything you do, you have to fight a thousand other people trying to do the same thing. My family loves going to Disneyland, so we get the annual passes every year. I just dread going because you have to stand in line 2 hours for the rides and if you want to eat there it costs an arm and a leg.

I plan on keeping my house here in Huntington Beach but am looking forward to owning a home in the country away from all the people. I am also looking forward to the change of seasons instead of living in a climate that is mild summer all year around, year after year after year. Its like living in the movie "Groundhog Day."

How about the Lawton area? Conservative? Home of Fort Sill. Streams? Wichita National Wildlife Refuge has 13 lakes and lots of clear streams. Agriculture? How about wheat! Churches? Something for everyone.
