Oologah has a good school system, Verdigris Schools, Collinsville Schools, all the communities are growing alot, Oologah is further out from Tulsa than the others but divided highway all the way, its about 35-40 min. drive...Owasso also has good schools, only about 20 min. from Tulsa...Look at a map, from Tulsa off of highway 169 you'll reach Owasso first, then Collinsville, Oologah...all our really growing because of proximity to Tulsa and people who want more land or rural lifestyle..Owasso is in Tulsa county though...Oologah, Verdigris, Claremore, Foyil are Rogers County...I can't remember if Collinsville is Tulsa or Rogers right now and Owasso is Tulsa County too . Owasso is one of the fastest growing communities around. There is also a beautiful recreation area by Oologah (Oologah Lake)
if you like fishing or boating..Bartlesville is also off of 169 about an hour and half from Tulsa, it's a really nice small city (malls etc.) Oologah and Collinsville are small communities as far as the actual town goes...hope this helps...former Okie
