And on a game day Memorial Stadium is the 3rd largest city. That tells you something about the size of cities other than Omaha and Lincoln.

I'm currently going to school in Lincoln, and I love the UNL campus and the quality of education there. At the same time, I must admit it's pretty sad that the state of Nebraska has only slightly more people in it than the Austin metro area, where I'm from.

It's not really 'sad', to be honest. We have one very large metro and the rest of the state is commercial agriculture which is required for human existance.

I'd say the state has a great balance and is of great importance for mankind.

Anyone else amused by the fact that the OP was so baffled about how to figure this out when he could have just looked up the population for Nebraska and Omaha and done the math himself?
