Speaking of trolling... Why are you even in the "Omaha" sub-forum?

This appears to be a state-by-state thing. In some states it's law, in others it's more of a recommendation. Then there are some states that seem to have no comment.

This, of course, leaves the door wide open for money-hungry cities like Council Bluffs to neglect public safety for the sake of raking in some ill-gained profits.

One more reason I will NEVER shop at Council Bluffs - which means they loose the business and tax revenue on $15,000 - $20,000 in building supplies every year.

Idiots.

Bluffs increases red-light fines - Omaha.com

Was the business LOOSE and shaky or were they going to LOSE business?

Why are you taking your business to CB anyway.

Shop Omaha/Nebraska, that is where you live correct?

If my nearby lumberyard doesn't have the product I need, the Home Depot & Menards at Lake Manawa are actually as close as the ones in West Omaha.

Well they may be as close as the ones in West Omaha but that still takes your money to Iowa.

Why not shop Omaha if they are not farther away?

Annex CB, now there's a thought. I honestly think there's something seriously wrong with Iowa being in Nebraska territory, as in carter lake. How many people get freaked out coming from Epply on their way to Omaha seeing a 'welcome to iowa' sign. yeah iowa for a whole 1000'.

No way! Annexation is boring! Like I said earlier, we need to unilaterally declare war - just because we feel like it!

I can see the post from SurfO now. How about Council Bluffs for Omaha's gay district?
