Yes, I noticed that a few weeks ago it was vacant and the signage was removed.

been gone for months now like pheaton said.

not surprised though. with Subway and IHOP and Famous Dave's and Pepperjax grill and Arby's all in that area, I guess Sonic's couldnt survive.

Thanks for the info guys.

This almost seems to be a trend for Sonic these days. Sonic built a brand new restaurant down here in the summer of 2004 and in the last 6 years they have shut down and tore down the building. I don't know how old the Sonic at 72nd and Military was, but it couldn't have been much older than the one built down by me.

Sonic might want to get themselves squared away.

That's for sure. They built a new one years back in Beatrice, but it was only open a bit more then a year. Too many other fast food places right near it on Hwy. 77 (6th Street).
