Does anyone know the names of the facilities that house youth corrections in Omaha (i.e. the kids' jail and/or prison). Thanks! Fishing for employment possibilities here...

There is the DCYC (Douglas County Youth Center) and OPS has some alternative schools that may fit the bill of what you're looking for.

If you're wanting to go into Corrections, contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. They're going to be the ones handling corrections.

Thanks Mr. Tucker's Law... You said they're "going to be" - does that mean there is going to be some kind of transfer of power? And they'll be handling youth corrections as well? We can research this on our own, but if you happen to know off the top of your head, can you share? Thanks!

As with most states, the County Sheriff's Department handles corrections in it's area. That's true even if cases when the city and counties consolidate, which may very well happen in Omaha.

As far as I know, none of the youth specific corrections are out sourced or handled by someone else, but you'll want to double check that.
