I would say a bicycle ride on the keystone trail is called for. If you want a real LONG ride start out at Democracy park (fort & templeton) and jump on the big papio trail @ Q st and head north. Both trails go through some real nice neighborhoods and wooded areas. If you don't have a bicycle greenstreet cycles will rent one fairly cheep. Just bring water as there are only 2 spots on the keystone to fill up and none on the papio.

If you want to eat you could stop at the HuHot Mongolian grill (go before 3 as the dinner prices are high) at 72nd and pacific. it is right along the keystone, but they do not have bicycle racks so bring a good u-lock and find a post.

The Henry Doorly Zoo which is a (MUST SEE)! Also, the heartland of America park is awesome. It's in the heart of downtown so there's a view of the older buildings, a beautiful fountain, flags of countries around the world, and you can ride the ferry. It is also near many attractions in Council Bluffs. If I were you I would also try and see a concert at Sokol, in Omaha we have a unique indie music scene that rivals indie music around the country (Saddle Creek Records)
