Does anyone know the best place to shoot pictures with the fireworks, First National Bank and the holiday lights all in one picture? Is it right to assume that the fireworks coming out of the First National Bank building itself?

No, I can't think of a time when they ever shot fireworks out of downtown. Would love it if they did, though.

They did. Somebody made a video of it on youtube. I'm not sure when it was, though. That would be pretty cool if they did it again. Something tells me there's a reason why they didn't do it last year.

I'm pretty certain they actually set off commercial grade fireworks from the higest recess of the First National Tower...

Edit/ Yep, they did. (Observe2's Photo from Flicker)

The last time I went, a few years ago, they shot them off in Heartland of America park. A great view of them was from the NE corner of the Western Heritgage Museum upper parking lot. If you have a freehand camera you can balance it on the ledge, or there is room for a tripod if you like.

I would make sure they still shoot them off in the park though and not off the building. If they shoot them off the top of the building 16th and Howard might be good.
