Pretty interesting to see ConAgra and Cox Communications as two of the sponsors.

It just surprised me that these huge corporations would help fund such an "alternative" event. Don't get me wrong, I think that it is great. However, it wont make me stuff my face with the trash that ConAgra claims is food.

Ahhh...

I assume that they're betting on some sort of financial benefit. It's not about "the cause." They get to donate money, and get a tax break. Then (hopefully) sell a bunch of stuff and make money.

Is the parade downtown, near ConAgra?

Wow and we out here in California don't have parades proclaiming our pride for our city. Maybe we will need to start doing that. It is nice to know that you all are so proud of the area that you live in.

This has nothing to do with pride of the city, trust me!

Not that I am against it, just not for it either...
