I currently live in Lincoln, and living in Nebraska while trying to pursue an IT field is proving to be a bit tough without going out-of-state. A college that caught my eye in Omaha was Metro Community College. They seem like a very nice school for IT. I've heard very bad feedback about ITT-Tech, so I scratched that off the list a long time ago.
. I would use that associates as a starting point, and from there, I would probably go out-of-state to get my bachelor's and then maybe my Masters.
Anybody have any other idea's about college's in Omaha that could at least get me an associates in an IT field (for me, Networking Administration and/or Telecommunications)

I don't know what part of IT you are looking to go into for your bachelors degree, but have you checked out UNO yet? UNO | College of Information Science and Technology

A lot of students start at Metro and transfer over to UNO, at least for the business school. I'm assuming people follow similar plans for other degrees. If you can find the right program that both schools offer, it might be a good option for you. As an added benefit, you wouldn't have to go out of state.

That's my take but I was a business major and didn't take any classes at Metro, so maybe some IS&T people can chime in.

I'll probably continue for a bachelors/masters towards a Computer Science major, with a concentration in Networking Administration and/or Telecommunications.
