Actually, as I've repeatedly said, I'm really kind of a live and let live guy. Stop trying to force your morals on me and I'll leave you alone.
Me -> Wants gay marriage within organizations that recognize it without forcing organizations to recognize it. No one religion is held to a higher regard based on belief.

You -> Doesn't want gay marriage even if it means to legislate against other people. Your belief is held to such a high regard, to yourself, that you are willing to allow it to impede on people's natural path.

Difference? I don't want to impede, but don't want to be impeded against. You don't want to be impeded against so that you may impede on other people's lives.

It's funny how you don't allow yourself to see this.

You notice he never seems to post outside of working hours? Wonder if using company time and compute resources to debate online is in line with biblical teachings?

Or might it be, dare I say it, an abomination?

I have a job where I have downtime that I can post.

Why are you posting right now?.

The post to which you responded was posted at 8:54 PM yesterday. It was done using my Android Tablet while attached to my home wireless network, all of which I paid for. This particular post is being made at 10:04PM today. It's being done on my own laptop attached to the same home wireless network.

You have downtime at work? I don't. Shouldn't you be doing something to attract business during such time?

I think a whole slew of haters in Omaha, including people from Omaha Alliance, the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce as well as certain members of the City Council should be apologizing for their anti-gay rhetoric of hate and bigotry.

Please, no one respond to this. We do not need another pointless argument.

Oh yes, my dear Raphael07, its so pointless to expect equal treatment from across the board. I think not. The Gay Debate is in Omaha, and is here to stay. Rejoice!

Dude, are you that oblivious? I'm gay. I just know that these types of debates we have here are pointless and create bad blood between us. Not all gay people are as militant as you, actually most aren't. Myself included. Which is why I would rather not have this fall into another pointless argument.

The fact is that whether its a pointless argument is debatable. If you don't want to debate it, then find another thread to play in. Posting my views on a public forum is hardly militant, anyway. Do you see how active Bold Nebraska has been on the TransCanada Pipeline issue? That is the perftect example for the LGBT Community and our straight allies should follow on LGBT issues, and I don't find them militant. What I have done here is no different. It amazing how many members of the LGBT Community have complained that politica action will divide the community. I laugh in the face of that notion. On the contrary, the founding father's intended for us all to debate various issues, including our own, my dear Raphael07.

Back to topic, I think Jean Stothert should publicly apologize for her bigoted actions on the City Council. She invited the KC lawyers to come up and pry apart Ben Bray's proposal, announced without any proof that LGBT right will kill businesses and she also got the Family First organization involved as well. Family First is a Nebraska based anti-gay hate group that advertises its ties to Focus on the Family, another certified anti-gay hate group.

I think the majority of us are just tired of this stuff. Just leave us alone and we'll leave you alone. This whole schtick of whining because you think people hate you is just getting silly.

Yah...it's an immoral behavior. Do we hate you because of it? No. Do we want to tell you there is a better way? Yes.
