I would like to see an In-N-Out Burger here in town. I was SO happy to see five guys move in, but I like variety. Though honestly we seem to get east coast stores and restaurants well before west coast.

I like Trader Joe's you can get decent stuff there for not a lot of money. Plus if you don't like something, they will let you bring it back! Although the rich people look at you weird when you do.

I heard on one of the other threads Trader Joes was looking at a 2nd location in Omaha? I hope they spread them out a bit...
I think a local news crew did an interview with someone from Chick Fil A and they said/hinted at end of 2012. Rumors are possibly Village pointe area.

You can listen to KFAB/1110 on KFAB.com on Saturday mornings to the "Grow
Omaha Show". It comes on at around 10:00 AM on Saturdays but it is available on a Podcast the next day. I believe they have it archived on the website also. It will give you a fairly good idea about business in general in Omaha.

Word is the second Trader Joe's will occupy the former Border's location on 131st and West Maple. At one time they were going to University Village (formerly Crossroads), but the Border's meltdown opened up a better location for them.

OK, I know the OP was talking about national chains, but I can tell you about one retailer new to Omaha (and the universe for that matter). My husband just opened a video game store called Game Vault at 64th and Center. I don't expect anybody to take my word for it, but it really is by far the nicest video game store I've ever been to.

What actually makes it "the nicest" ?
