If you want to get an idea based on the area you'd like to be in, check out Pad Mapper or Hot Pads and use their filters to select the type and price range of the place you are looking for.

Hope that helps!

Gretna, Pappillion, Bennington and Bellevue are all surrounded by country on three sides, but shares a border that is continuous into Omaha.

La Vista is sandwhiched between Omaha (ralston really) and Papillion.

Blair is 15 minutes to the north and has about 8,000 people.
Ashland has 2,500 and lies 15 minuts to the southwest of Omaha with Lincoln only 15 minutes to the southwest.
Fremont is 15 minutes west, northwest of Omaha and has 26,500 people.
Wahoo is 15 minutes straight west of Omaha and has 4,500 people.
Springfield is 5 minutes to the south of Omaha and has 2,000 people.

All of which are growing with new suburban style homes.

You'll have lots of luck finding rentals in Bellevue or Papillion/Lavista area. On average, its about 700-800 for a 2-3 bed house per month.
