I thought awhile back I heard Macy's was looking at this market. Also Chick-fil-a had there eyes on Omaha, but I don't think either place has made any commitments..

Please let the Macy's be a normal sized one, not a Jr. sized one like Trader Joe's.

(I know these stores are not related, but I'm used to wandering around these stores & it sucks to get to checkout so quickly!).

I used to work for Macy's credit division, and back in early 2007 it was a not so well kept secret that they were looking heavily at the Omaha market. They were hit pretty hard by the recession though, so those plans are probably on hold.

When is the Chick-Fil-A coming? I'm looking forward to that!

I like Trader Joe's you can get decent stuff there for not a lot of money. Plus if you don't like something, they will let you bring it back! Although the rich people look at you weird when you do.

I heard on one of the other threads Trader Joes was looking at a 2nd location in Omaha? I hope they spread them out a bit...

Ah, that's why I don't go there. One at Crossroads would be nice when it's finished, but I don't know if I can wait that long!

I agree, I've been to several Trader Joe's along the west and it is at least just as big as any of them. I am also certain that it is bigger than the one on the left end of Las Vegas.
