Whoa, I haven't even heard of any of them. I'll have to hunt them up.

Mother India, Amsterdam, Los Portalles, La Buvette, Bohemian Cafe, and Venice Inn are usually the rotating favorites for my wife and I.

Do try them. The best steak I've ever eaten was at The Drover. It's the kind of place that's tucked away. I had driven by it for years without even knowing it.

Mangia is also hidden. It's in Irvington just one block north of Sorenson Parkway on Irvington Road. It's been voted the best pizza in Omaha for a number of years.

Pitch is relatively new and it's in downtown Dundee. They have fantastic pizza as well.

Burger Star is just south of 72nd and Pacific. The menu is small but the burgers are fantastic. They are among the best burgers that I've had.

The Hector's on Pacific is my favorite spot for Mexican food. The carne asada taco's and the nachos are excellent. Cilantro's is also very good.

Hector's is decent. I like Bohemian Cafe. Brother Sebastian's is good. The Drover is good. Venice Inn is great. Mangia is decent, but very greasy/oily/buttery, some like that though. Burger Lust has pretty good burgers.

Stella's (in Bellevue), Lo Sole Mio, The Greek Islands, Alvarado's

My favorite as of now... King Fong. Any restaurant open over 90 years in their original location is pretty awesome in my book.

King Fong is awesome for the ambiance and location not the food. It is certainly one of the most unique places in Omaha.

McFoster's, China Town (located on 35th and Leavenworth), Alvarado's, Luz Mila's. and while not technically local, I'm still shouting out MY local Domino's on Martha St cause they always make just fabulous pizza, especially for the price. Oh and I'll say Night Flight too, although I did like it much better when it was Home Team.
