What that area needs is more in the way of apartments and mixed use development. Far to many single family houses for an urban area.

And what's your point? To my knowledge, only three or four of the businesses there have closed since that post was made. Oh, and you were complaining about the bars in Benson long before that blog post was even made, so it doesn't really make much difference.

Link clearly shows you are wrong. There are many of them there, no doubt, but the Maple St. corridor running through Benson is full of many types of businesses.
