Over the last few weeks, they have been moving the utility poles along State Street to be further from the road. I've seen this happening between 156th and 120th. Does anyone know if they have plans to widen State Street soon? Or is this just routine maintenance of the poles?

To see all State Street plans (looks like a 3 lane plan for around 147th to Military) you can go here: http://www.co.douglas.ne.us/county/e..._2012-2017.pdf

From what I gather, they are just putting in a turn lane, but you can call the Douglas Co. Engineering Dept. and they could be more specific.

Does anyone know when they expect that bridge work to be completed, between 132nd and 144th on State? I'm ready to be done with the detour!

According to the DC Engineers, it is scheduled to be completed in mid August.
