Yes, all of that would be very low priority stuff.

Hence, why I say the curfew would not do ****. As most of this activity occurred after 11pm.

Loud, obnoxious, food fights, gathering in groups in the parking lot; sometimes obstructing the flow of cars through the drive-through, not leaving asking when asked, squealing tires in the parking lot, sex in the bathroom..........
Funny thing is when I eat out it's mainly adults that cause these problems. If you are going to point to this as an example as why we need a curfew, then we would need one for ALL residents, not just those under 18.

Actually, these are reasons to not have a curfew. Just like the fireworks, it would be pointless to have a law that is not enforced by the police, even when they are notified of violations.

Personally at the time of my restaurant management days I would have liked to see a curfew. But, like I pointed out, the police did not give a ****, so it would not have made a difference. The food fights are one thing, but refusing a request to leave and harassing other patrons is another.

In other countries, like Switzerland, it's a societal norm that people go to bed early, around 10pm. And it works pretty well there. But this is America, land of the free, home of the brave. We laugh at rules.

Its true. Typically in European countries, towns go quiet around 10 or even 9. At least the smaller ones anyway.

Same can be said of small towns in the states. Once you move into the larger cities in Europe things change and become more 24/7, just like here. Omaha is one of the few exceptions as this city dies after 8/9pm and is all but shut down on Sundays.
