In Bellevue I would suggest contacting:

Offutt - alot of military families have lived internationally and would probably love to host an international student

Bellevue University - they probably have a network of folks that would be open to hosting students

Bellevue Christian Center - a very large church that would probably have a few families open to such an idea

Good luck - one of those three should provide good leads.

Waasn't suggesting you were a soldier, just saying a lot of military families have lived internationally so might be very open to hosting an international student. I'd just go to the base's website and look for a general assistance number or call the general number in the phone book.

I would try Dave's sources, those would probably be best.

By "Host Family" do you mean a free place to live?

It is not a free place to live. We pay for room and sometimes even for daily meals. However, the main idea of having a host family is to live as a member of the family, sharing with them, learning about american culture, and learning English.

Default Looking for a host family in Omaha

Hey, guys did you find a host family?? A Saudi friend is coming to Omaha. It's his first time in the U.S. and he is going to study English.

I am trying to find a good host family for him, I want a place where he can live, but at the same time he can share some time with the family, practice English, and learn about the culture. (it is not free)

Does anyone knows about a good host family?
If you do please email me: lauris948@hotmail.com

Thanks!
