Outside of the Lithuanian Bakery & Deli on south 33rd, no. I also have never been there.

A quick google search gives "Lithuanian Bakery & Kafe" at 7427 Pacific Street.

Sadly, Omaha lacks European food. I myself am fond of German and Czech/Slovak foods.

u are so right. we got Middle Eastern and African and Asian Food places (which I am glad Omaha has)

but no Eastern Europe places to eat or shop at really in Omaha.

surprised there isnt any Russian places in Omaha (though I could be wrong on that)

been watching a bit of Scola and learning some Croatian (as a hobby)

and also saw this cool singing from a Slovenian singer named Maja Keuc on youtube

and also a Lithuanian singer

that has peaked my interest as of late if there were any eastern european places to eat at or shop at.

There is gerda's out on Leavenworth, but they are a little out of my way. There is also the Bohemian cafe, but after their support of the recall of mayor suttle (even having a table with volunteers accepting signatures), I can no longer bring myself to go there despite my having voted for daub in the election.

Sounds about right. I'm on bicycle so I don't like going to places on or near large hills. Only thing, outside of bakery, I have had at Gerda's was their Hungarian goulash. It was good, but a bit expensive at around $10-$12 for the meal.

I like the Bohemian cafe a lot, but they are very expensive at around $15-20 a person. I'm on more of a taco bell budget, so $5-$8.

As far as I know, not many Croats in that part of the USA, still Google lists one society in Omaha:

Croatian Cultural Soc of Omaha
8711 S 36th St
Bellevue, NE 68147
Phone: (402) 733-1018

Guess they will know if there is a Croatian food place over there.

Dobar tek

Good info, but am I the only one that gets a laugh of them calling themselves "Croatian Cultural Soc of OMAHA" but yet they are in Bellevue?
