My nephew is with the USAF, and he is getting transfered to Omaha, soon. Are their any good Thai restaurants near the base? He works in weather forecasting, but I'm not sure of which base. Thanks!

There is only one Air Force base near Omaha and that's Offuit USAF base in Bellevue NE just south of Omaha. Restaurants are everywhere in that area, you will not have any problems finding a place to eat.

There's only one base in the area, that's offutt.

Anyway, I'd recommend Vietnamese Restaurant 7212 Jones Street... they have like half thai on their menu, and its very good. It will be about a 20 minute drive for them from bellevue.

Yes, it is Offutt. How about that Siam-Cuisine, that is actually in Bellvue?

Yes, there is a Thai Restaurant in Bellevue and it's pretty good: Siam Cuisine, 11796 S. 25th St.. There are also several Thai Restaurants in neighboring Omaha, a short drive away. There are 2 that I like in Omaha: Mai Thai 2, 2279 S. 67th (in Aksarben Village), and a little hole in the wall place in South Omaha, Laos/Thai Market (store and restaurant), 4520 S. 24th St..
