So, last Friday I went with a couple family members to see the Titanic Exhibit down here at the Maheffey Theater (great place, by the way) in St. Petersburg.

Mahaffey hosts Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

The way it works is that you buy a ticket at the box office, go inside the general foyer where there are a few smaller exhibits, and then you are given a replica "boarding pass" from one of the real life passengers. As you go through the exhibit, there are people playing characters from the Titanic, such as the head nurse of the ship. These people will then give you any relevant back story about the history of the person whose boarding pass you were given.

The boarding pass I was given was none other than Mr. Emil Brandeis, son of Jonas Brandeis, the founder of the Brandeis Department Store.

It was quite interesting to get the boarding pass of not only an Omaha resident, but a member of one of the most influential families in the city's history. Also, surprisingly enough, many of the people guiding the exhibit seemed to actually know a bit about his history and we had some interesting discussions.

I'm going to scan the boarding pass later, and probably post a few pictures as well.
