How does this differ from what they already offer? Long ago, Qwest Telechoice was comparable to Cox, but has declined over time.

It will be different since it will use fiber optic technology. I heard a while back that it was supposed to be coming to Omaha. Now the only bummer is we are in a contract with Direct TV. Since it won't be city wide right off the bat, hopefully it will be available to me once our contract is up. We had ATT U-verse (uses fiber optic lines like Prism) when we were in TX and loved it.

Well, not to be overly technical, but this isn't a new company, but a new service.

I have basic Century Link now that I use to supplement my DirecTV. Currently my DirecTV boxes have the cable input and will show the locals through the boxes. This is great when weather disrupts the Sat (which is usually about the time I really want to see the local broadcasts). I'm afraid that the new Fiber optic will blow that option up for me. I won't be happy.

Let them carry Deutsche Welle! Or some other German tv. I'm tired of having to pirate my stuff all the time, or use a proxy to fool Deutsche Welle's website into thinking I'm in Germany.
