Smile Want to relocate to Omaha area.

Hello,

I currently live in central New Jersey and I am looking to relocate to the Omaha area to be closer to someone special. I am a Project Coordinator for a Fortune 15 insurance company and have 15 years experience in the industry.

I am finding it difficult to secure an interview however, and would appreciate some advice. I know it is not easy, as I am applying from over 1100 miles away. I am willing to travel for an interview.

Thanks for listening

Default traveling to Omaha for interview

Be VERY careful about traveling that far for an interview. Experience is good, but employers play a lot of games. You can always make sandwiches, do $8/hour office work, etc. But that doesn't sound like something you want to do.

I can't tell you what to do but I would be very skittish about giving up a good job for Omaha. Perhaps you could arrange for interviews (at least 3-4) while you're visiting your friend in Omaha anyway? econ
