Hi everyone!

I am moving to Omaha next February for my job, relocating from Italy. Would anyone tell me which are the nicest areas where I could look for an accommodation? I'll be working at UNMC and would preferably look for something close to nightlife, restaurants, gym/swimmingpool and grocery stores. My budget is around 700-800 $/month. Shared flat/host family preferred at least for the first period.

Thanks a lot for any help you can provide me!

I live withing walking distance to UNMC and my landlord may have available apartments and he is definitely lower than $700/month. You can private message me for his contact info. I can walk to Midtown crossing where there is a gym, but if you work at UNMC you will have the gym facilities free at your leisure. In terms of grocery stores, if you have a car, absolutely no problem for you then- if you don't, Wohlner's market and Bakers and even Supermercado are all within reach....Swimming pool...uhh, as someone who LOVES to swim, I was only able to make ONE public pool event this year, I know UNMC students have UNO privileges to their pool (but it's indoors), I think your best bet is to know someone with a pool and use theirs...lol...

If you live near Midtown crossing their are some great bars in the area, around the corner from my complex are two completely opposite but great ones...and its like a ten min drive to downtown...
