Something else Omahan's are notorious for... slowing down and rubber necking at every little 'going on' alongside the road. I get stuck waiting behind traffic... only to discover everything frees up once everyone has driven past the GUY CHANGING A TIRE!?!

Another funny one... NDOR/state patrol will put up a warning on one of the giant message boards on I-680 that there is an accident by some exit 2 hours west of Omaha on I-80... which 99% of the people driving by the sign... wouldn't be impacted by... yet, they all slow down to read the sign... creating a mile long back up... which almost warrants it's own warning for drivers further down the road!

This is all subject to change eventually!

How about them idiots who almost come to a complete stop because they are afraid to merge onto the interstate?

That usually gets my blood boiling!

Dewey115 is on a distinguished road
And lets not forget those people that wait until they have 10 feet till their turn and cross 3 lanes of traffic at the last possible second to make it. And during those times they cant make it safely they will come to a dead stop and wait for their chance to move over, stopping everyone behind them. I wonder how people can drive for miles and miles knowing where they are headed and not have the chance to get into the correct lane until the very last possible instant. Talk about procrastinating... And yeah the cell phone use around here is horrendous. Many of these people cant drive safely when they are focused, give them something else to distract them and I am surprised there aren't a lot more people being killed every day. I understand why so many states ban cell phone use when your driving.
