My google skills must be lacking tonight. In any event, i am looking for a restaurant preferably in bellevue, but open to other locations with a private party room for an event I want to hold. About 25-30 people. Any thoughts? its been 5 years since ive lived in Omaha and I'm sure a lot of places have closed and opened during that time.

You might want to check with Gorats (402) 551-3733, 4917 Center Street. I think they still have a large enough room off the main dining area that will fit your needs.

oh yes! I'll have to add them to my list. I just hope they can offer a limited menu, i'm going to be paying for everyone's meal, so i really dont want to have to pay for the most expensive steak on the menu for everyone Trying to plan this from Georgia is a little tougher than I am expecting I think. (Its a surprise 20th anniversary party for my parents)

Check with Spezia as well - they have two party rooms listed on their website.

+1 Spezia, great food and not far from the interstate. Fairly contemporary atmosphere, but not pretentious

Gorat's would work well if your crowd likes a more old-school steakhouse.

Another old school place would be Cascio's - pretty straight shot from Bellevue to downtown Omaha
