Default Another Shooting...

19 year old Kyle Bormann allegedly shot and killed 21 yr old Brittney Williams from 100 yards away. Bormann looks an awful lot like Robert Hawkins if you ask me (not that it has anything to do with this).
The shooting is said to seem completely random which makes me wonder if he planned to stop with one victim. Any thoughts?

Tragic.

I was thinking the same thing... the victim was black... completely random? or was he targeting race?

Sounds like a real genius... he drove back to the scene, plowed through the police crime scene tape, leading them on a short chase before being captured.

Glad he's off the street.

I'm worried it was a Westroads copycat.

-Used high-powered rifle
-white/male/19 years old
-attacked unknown victim
-intended to get caught

Maybe he wanted the same attention he saw Hawkins get after Westroads?

He should go straight to death row. Senseless.

Personally, I think death row is too easy a way out.

I'm a proponent of abolishing the death penalty in favor of a lifetime of hard labor. Whatever happened to the 'chain gang' anyway?? Don't we have roads/infrastructure to repair in rural Nebraska?

(not to speak of the stigma Nebraska carries for being the only state which requires use of the electric chair)

Lol, slavery. I would have to agree. We pay for their crimes twice. (The initial crime and the cost of living for the deadbeats.) I am in complete favor of them giving back to the community, voluntarily or forced.
