So I have seen different comments referring to a "grid" type driving experience in Omaha. Would like some more opinions on the matter.

It is mostly a grid, but with a few exceptions; we do have some older streets streets that cross the grid at an angle, and others that are either interrupted (such as Pacific, which is cut in two by Elmwood Park), or which don't cross Dodge Street (for instance, you can't get to South 114th Street by driving south down North 114th Street). And the downtown area has several one-way streets, so in that area you need to know which direction the street traffic moves before you can decide whether it will take you where you want to go.
