Ok DTO Luv has said that Pacific Life will build a tower in omaha of unknown height. What effects do you think this will have on Omaha's already booming economy. Will it be another stimulus like One First National Center, hopefully it will. And will other companies start expanding into Omaha creating even more growth. Maybe our skyline will stop getting bashed with pacific life's tower and wallstreet tower added to our skyline. I also wonder where they will shoot Omaha's skyline shot. They cant use Gene Leahy mall and include wallstreet tower so they will need a new spot. One more thing, DTO why havent plans for this tower been made public? I would think the news stations and newspaper would go crazy over it.

Most big ventures like that aren't made public until they are about to start. It's a private company doing something so the public doesn't really need to know about it.

It is a rumor circulating because Hyatt execs were sighted in Omaha recently. However, the likelihood exists that they were merely filling positions at their Omaha call center.
Sorry to bring up a dead topic. I just saw that this tower was only mentioned on these forums, and not at eomahaforums.com so I thought I'd spread what I know from that forum. Last edited by 2Adam29; 04-01-2008 at 06:12 PM. Reason: apology |

Hyatt has their property for their hotel DT already spoken for. I don't know where exactly it is but it's just a matter of time before it's built.

A friend of mine works part time at Hyatt and he said that Hyatt is talks to bring their newest brand of properties to Omaha, Hyatt Place. They are pretty cool properties. You can check out a Hyatt Place on their website.

A google search for Hyatt place comes up with some very short buildings. I'm worried.
