Glad to see the same 3 people are still here defending Cornhusker Country.

Happy to say I will not miss the politics of Omaha and Nebraska when I leave forever next month. Some very good...great...things about this place, but taxes and politics are not on the list.

Default well...

I hope you find your place, and I understand that this place may not be politically or whatever reason for you, and that there is a better place for somebody like yourself.

But I just simply cannot take a back seat on some of the issues that people bring up that are myths or misread.. Especially taxes, negative people pick the most sensitive areas of peoples lives and take any statistic and paint a picture that is half-true.

I do full-research and have my entire life, and my defense to the tax issue is that, I am not claiming that we have low taxes, our taxes paid out of our pocket range in the average for taxes paid per-capita.

The fact that is being blown out of proportion are some of the rates being thrown out there, while true the rates may be high, the cost of the product is lower here.

But some just choose what they want to hear, I choose to research this fact and found this myth to be quite untrue about our High taxes.

I just wish people are more willing to listen, but I understand that for you pablo it goes being taxes, it reaches into politics and within that field I am unfortunately only educated on the above average, but I am not an expert and from my point of view, I can see some people having political differences with Nebraska's system.

Anyway, good luck and I am happy you found your green grass

And btw, there are more than three people in cornhusker territory that have civic pride, civic pride is very strong here and some (like myself) am tired of hearing these myth's that paint a completely untrue picture. I love Nebraska, I love Omaha, this is where I prefer to live and I live in abundance and happily, my green grass is here, so please understand and respect that fact.
