Default Good schools and rental home in omaha

My family and I are moving to omaha in a couple of weeks. We are going to rent a townhom. We have a 6 and 3 years old. Good school will be the first prority while we look for a house. By now, I have contacted two leasing offices.

1. Stony Brook Apartments and Townhomes
At South of Q st. and west of 144 st.
Elementary School: Bryan Elementary School

I was told Bryan is in the Millard south School District. But I got some feedback that Millard south schools are not as good as Millard north schools. Is that true?

2. Sunset Rige Townhome
Between W Center St. and L St. , and close to 132nd St.
Elementary School: Cody Elementary School

Is there anyone has kids in these two schools and how are they? And anyone knows about these two twonhome, are they in the good neighborhood?

Any recommandation for other good elementary schools and townhomes at west Omaha also the daycares around.

Thank you very much!

Don't know the townhomes or the schools specifically, but the areas of town are decent and the school district good.

Default good schools and rental homes

Here are a couple of links that may help you. For rentals, try craigslist.

craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums

For schools try this link

GreatSchools.net

I think both of 'em are in the Millard area.

As for the Millard question? I went to grade school and junior high in the Millard North area, then moved to Millard South for high school. My older sisters went to Millard North, and my younger sister went to a Millard South area middle school. You really can't go wrong with the Millard district for schools.

Appreciate very much for all your help.

Now, we are also thinking to look for a townhome or apartment in downtwon near "OLD MARKET". Any recommendation for the schools and apartments? How about the safety around?

Thanks a lot!
