Wow that's great! I love hearing that people are moving back to older areas (downtown, Dundee, Gold Coast, ect.) I'm kind of a sucker for old homes and landmarks so it always brings a tear to my eye when people want to move there

It's all about your price range. Homes in the actually Dundee "boundaries" actually won't be too high. Where the home prices tend to shoot up is the area around UNO. While those homes are quite beautiful, the average home value is about $500,000+ and upwards of $1,000,000 in Fairacres. But for about $125,000, give or take, in Dundee, you can get a three story American Foursquare style house built in the 20's.

Another one of my favorite older neighborhoods, if you're interested, is Country Club, which is located a bit north of Dundee/Happy Hollow. Another cool neighborhood just south and east of Dundee are the Field Club and Hanscom Park neighborhoods. Both are amazing and I love to settle down in any of the aforementioned neighborhoods.

But I think Dundee would be a great fit you you, Dundeeluver. There's tons of fantastic restaurants, shopping, it's close to the med center, Omaha Community Playhouse, Downtown, Midtown Crossing and Benson, which has more unique shopping and dining options.

I know a great real estate site for looking at potential homes. It even has a map feature to look at homes listed specifically in the area of town you desire (your case, Dundee.)

Good luck!
