Downtown has good coverage... but outside of there... nothing but a few major streets west until 680 (where they begin covering almost every little obscure suburban neighborhood... including mine in the 'pan handle')
Have you seen the street view? It's really sweet.

There were about 5 black students in my high school out of about 2400 in all I realize that this is common throughout the midwest, not just an Omaha thing, but still, don't let the demographics suggest that it is some kind of progressive, melting-pot city. Far from it.

well I dunno. Depends on the school, I went to Central High in Downtown Omaha and it was about half minority, half white in a school of about 2,800. But I think we were probably the most diverse school in the district.

Omaha Public School district demographics (largest in the metro and comprising ~45,000 students)
White 44.1%
Black 31.5%
Hispanic 21.2%
Asian/Pacific Islander 1.7%
American Indian/Alaska Native 1.5%
Compared to my kids district out in suburbia (Millard Public School district ~20,000 students)
White 90.5%
Black 2.6%
Hispanic 3.1%
Asian/Pacific Islander 3.5%
So it's not as if the city is entirely segregated... again, like I suspect most larger cities are... you'll find very diverse neighborhoods/schools in the core (as in the case of OPS)... and very 'white' suburban neighborhoods/schools.

Central is also the former institution of Gale Sayers as was mentioned above, as well as football star Ahman Green.

Thanks for the plug, but I still have far too much of SCRANTON to photograph yet! This old coal town doesn't sell itself, you know!

You haven't photographed EVERY house yet? I thought you were building quite a Scranton "Google Streetview" type of inventory of your own.
