Well since the context of his comment implies that most of Nebraska is rural and conservative I don't see how one can argue with that.

I personally found rural Nebraska to be a very scary place. It's unfortunate that if you are coming from the west coast you have to navigate all of western Nebraska before you get to quasi-civilization. Nebraska is a very large state, and Omaha a rather small part of it.

Not sure I understand your comment - what is "quasi-civilization"?

I don't know what you could POSSIBLY have found to be scary about rural Nebraska. Boring, yes. Scary, no. I'd venture a guess that if you were driving through rural Nebraska, and had a breakdown, there would be any number of people that would go out of their way to help you - including fixing your vehicle, towing it somewhere to be fixed, welcoming you into their homes and/or actually driving you to where you needed to be. Shoot, most of them would probably insist that you have dinner with them.

It sounds like you have a touch of paranoia or something.

Who - besides you - said anything about race? And what leads you to believe people in rural Nebraska wouldn't help anybody but a white person?

Sounds to me like you're making stuff up again.

And thanks but no thanks. Don't need meds. I have a fresh-ground and brewed cup of coffee. I'm well set.
