Why do you always automatically assume people are idiots?

So you just admitted that there really IS an Omaha radio station that is exclusively Classical. But then you turn around and basically admit that it's not good enough for you.
Is ANYTHING good enough for you? Honestly, as I read through your posts, I get the feeling that you just really like to complain a lot.
Life is what you make of it - wherever you live. Why not make it good?

Stacy, I think you should try some Rush L. Very politically charged. Jk, I can't even stand Rush anymore.
If I was you, just pay the $10/month and get a sirus sat radio universal for home and car.

This coming from a guy who does not believe there is any racism in Omaha because he has not personally experienced it.
I doubt that it is Spanish speakers giving her the stink-eye. I've gotta say though that public chastisement of people speaking their native language has been very common everyplace I've ever lived. Especially California...in fact my experience has been the more multilingual the overall population the more uncomfortable English-only speakers tended to be when faced with a conversation they couldn't understand in public. Los Angeles was the worst (oddly San Francisco wasn't bad...but Sonoma/Napa counties were terrible).
Omaha being so segregated might make it worse.

Because not everyone is willing to roll over and take whatever life hands them! If we all did this nothing would ever change for the better.

Then if your life is that miserable, it looks to me like you have a choice: Sit & ***** about it, or change it.
Stop expecting everybody to cater to your every whim. Life just doesn't work that way.

Stop lying about the racism thing. You've sunk to a new low, and you really should stop it.
If you are looking for racism, you'll always find it. If you're looking for "the stink eye" you'll always find somebody giving it to you. If you're looking for a justification for your "This place sucks!" attitude, you'll always find it.
I can't help but wonder if your fellow complainer, on this thread, has actually ever been in more than one or two neighborhoods in Omaha. A person would have to be a total moron to believe that there is no diversity in Omaha - unless you live in a tiny little gated neighborhood in West O, and you never leave your house.

And if you close your eyes to it and refuse to see you will consistently think that the problems of the world are just foolish lies. But how will this attitude ever help anyone overcome their circumstances?

Obviously you WANT to believe everything is horrible in the world. You WANT to believe that everyone is a racist. You WANT to believe that everything about Omaha sucks. You WANT to believe that everybody is a homophobe. You WANT to believe that gays are not allowed in hospitals. You WANT to believe that everybody is picking on you.
Congratulations. There is no help for you. I feel very, very sorry for you. Really, I do.
There is an antidote to your misery, but it's obvious that you're not the least bit interested.

Am I wrong or do I detect a tab bit of intellectual snobbery here?

Honestly Nita, I think it's just bitterness. Stacy seems like a very, very unhappy person. And I feel badly about that.
Also, I listen to 90.7 all the time. Otis Twelve in the mornings. So when somebody says that a classical radio station sucks, they're really saying that they think some classical music sucks, while other classical music is "all it". And that, frankly, is kind of funny. It's kind of like a pair of nerdy cello players getting into a bow-fight over who has the thicker glasses.
