Default Great Pics

You don't know what looking at these photos does for a transplanted Nebraskan. I grew up in Old Millard (then it became annexed Millard) and remember the small town feel and architecture. Your pictures have brought that all back to me.

I especially enjoyed the bakery in Benson, Sokol Hall and the pictures of Ralston. Those are places I remember from many years ago.

When did South Omaha acquire a large Hispanic population? I remember those areas having large Polish, Czech, and Bohemian populations. I guess I haven't kept up on the changes in Omaha.

Thanks again for the pictures.
