Default Rod Kush - A Failure?

Omaha.com Money Section

It sounds to me like Rod Kush never was much of a success. He just lived a self-deluded lie by going deeper and deeper into debt for the past 20 years.

Being driven by ego, and living FAR beyond your means, usually has a way of catching up with you.

I don't know about that. His stores were pretty successful and they made alot of money, but it looks like it just got too big for him to handle and the bottom fell out.

I don't know that ego and living beyond his means were the cause of it.

And he probably would have paid him in shares of BRK-A, which has gone up about 700% since 1994 or whenever their meeting was. EPIC FAIL!

I went to his store once...Never Again!!! His employees were mostly parolees. That said, I spoke with with Mr. Kush and thought he had a good customer relations perspective.
