Ditto. I'm also interested in hearing how the Red Cross helps in a crisis.

Hey WARNYOU I am still waiting to discuss the issue about the Salvation Army with you. Why have you not replied yet. Don't you want to discuss it now that some one is willing to do so.

I don't think you want to discuss it as now you seem fixed on a flee market that Rod Kusk has opened up.

I hope that you enjoy the three photos that I attached to the post about this new posting for you. Maybe you just might start thinking that you might not have it to bad in Omaha after all.

The weather was partially the reason but the main reason it was still up... the designer, owner and person who donated the tree was out of the country for 6 weeks. He wanted to oversee the take down of the tree.

It's back on to kick off The Salvation Army's 2007 Tree of Lights Campaign.

Ok, the clock has started.

Let's see how long the "Tree-O-Lights" stays up this year.

Last year it was some time in March. Will we have a new record this year?

My understanding is that the term "redneck" originated from a guy working out in the sun all day, i.e. a farmer working in the field from dawn to dusk to feed his family (and a few cityfolk with cushy jobs like riding around in a truck all day delivering packages).

Although I am well aware of the abuses of the term, I have nothing but respect for real "rednecks".

Well, looks like the we are not going to break last years record of leaving the Holiday decorations up. Driving down Dodge street last night the Tree was gone 01-07-08.

Thanks SA for Keeping Omaha Beautiful. "Pich In"

Well who would want to go out and take that crap down in this weather (although it's not been as bad lately, I know). It's not like anyone's noticing it anyway when it's covered in snow.
