It is nice to know about all of the places to go for statical data. I always go to the City-Data.com web site now first as here is what they say that they have done:

We've collected and analyzed data from numerous sources to create as complete and interesting profiles of all U.S. cities as we could. We have over 30,000 city photos not found anywhere else, hundreds of thousands of maps, satellite photos, stats about residents (race, income, ancestries, education, employment...), geographical data, state profiles, crime data, sex offenders, housing, businesses, local news links based on our exclusive technology, birthplaces of famous people, political contributions, city government employment, weather, hospitals, schools, libraries, houses, airports, radio and TV stations, zip codes, area codes, air pollution, water systems and their health and monitoring violations, professionally written city guides, a forum with over 60,000 registered members and 400,000 posts, user-submitted facts.

This sounds like someone has done a bunch of work already. Now I do look at other information about other areas, not because I might move there, I do it because I might find something interesting that I might want to read about. Kind of like the one I am reading now about the Armenian issue that has been going on now for the past 100 years in Turkey. This is very interesting reading. Plus there is not one bit of statical data being put into this story. It tells the story about the people living there.

Here you go if you want to read about Armenian and get off of the statical data band wagon for a little bit:

I like to do that, too. Especially if it's someplace I have an interest in, have been there, etc.
