Smile News, Motorists loses wallet, spraying $100-bills on road; passers-by return all but one.

OMAHA, Neb. - An Omaha man is smiling with relief because a posse of strangers rounded up and returned more than $2,000 that spilled from his dropped wallet.

Anthony Burres says he was riding his motorcycle Thursday when the wallet loaded with hundred-dollar bills fell from his pocket onto the street.

That is a great story, but I couldn't imagine carrying that much cash personally. Unless it was an unusual circumstance.

Doubt you'd see that in very many places.

Why is this biker riding around with $2,000 on him? Very Suspicious. Usuaslly drug dealers carry this much cash on hand.

I agree with you.Had that happened in the los angeles area people would of taken the money & his credit cards (if in wallet). Also if his ss# & dl was in wallet someone would of stolen his identity.

I ride a motorcycle. Countless times I've thought about how easy it would be for my wallet to slip out of my back pocket. I'm thinking I'd have secured it a bit more with that much cash on me. He's fortunate.

Personally I try to never carry more than $50 in cash on me. I prefer credit and/or debit cards to cash.
