actually, Los Alamos,New Mexico is the place home to the most millionaires per capita.Do some research,Los Alamos is home to the Los Alamos labs.check it out.

I've repeatedly heard that Omaha has the highest millionaire rate per capita. I'm not sure who tallies that info though. Omaha is the home of the Buffett empire for one, so that definitely would give it a shot in the arm.
He posted a link for Omaha. Do you have one for Los Alamos? I would add that government research scientists aren't rich, so I hope that wasn't your basis. They make a good living, but its on the order of $100,000/year.

I read that link that ehenningsen provided. It said nothing other than "Omaha is home to more millionaries, etc". Just that one sentence with no corroboration. I agree, who tallies this stuff? Who knows everyone's personal finances? It is not hard to be a millionaire today, with houses themselves worth $500,00+. Both my parents came of age during the depression, worked professional but not highly paid jobs (and my mom was out of the workforce for 20 yrs), and they had an estate of greater than $1 million. They learned to save during the depression!
